What a day! A fabulous farm open day

Around 1,000 people visited Northney Farm yesterday for our annual open day. Dozens of tractor and trailer rides took visitors around the fields. We sold hundreds of ice creams, so thank you to everyone who visited. In fact, we sold so much that I've got to make extra this week.

We're now looking forward to our next Ice Cream Sunday on the 1st August (2pm to 4pm at Northney Farm). We've also had lots of good feedback about our new tubs and new flavours. Please keep letting us know what you think. We're also now thinking about what our next new flavour should be. So far we've had suggestions for Raspberry Ripple, Ginger or Coconut.

Final news for this week is that our stall will be at the Hayling Co-op this Saturday, so please pop in for a cone, as well as taking home a tub for your freezer.

Another great Ice Cream Sunday and New flavours launched!

What great summer weather we're having - excellent for eating ice cream. Plenty of news to report this month.

We've just had our second Ice Cream Sunday, another great success. We got a mention in our local newspaper, the Hayling Islander this month. We're now looking forward to our Farm open day on the 18th July. Please come and take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm, see the cows close up, find out more about farming today, and, of course, have some ice cream and the other refreshments we'll have available. Free entry. Open from 11am to 4pm.

Secondly, we've just launched three new flavours, rum & raisin, coffee and chocolate & hazlenut - all due to popular demand. They were certainly very popular over the weekend. All three are available now in 1 Litre and 120ml tubs at Stoke Fruit Farm.

Thirdly, we are taking part in Havant Market starting next Tuesday (13th July). If you're in Havant next Tuesday please come and see us, and you can purchase both ice cream in cones and take-home packs.

Wow, what a first Ice Cream Sunday

Thank you to everyone who visited us yesterday for our first Ice Cream Sunday. We were delighted that we had so many visitors. The weather was great, and hundreds of ice creams were comsumed. We now really looking forward to our next Ice Cream Sunday - 4th July 2pm to 4pm - we hope to see you then.

ICE CREAM SUNDAYS!

Northney Ice Cream is going to be open to the public at Northney Farm on selected Sundays starting on the 6th June, from 2pm to 4pm. That's why it's called "Ice Cream Sundays"! We're starting off by opening on the 1st Sunday of the month.

At the farm, you will be able to purchase your favourite flavours in cones, tubs or take-home packs. Whilst you are enjoying your ice cream, you can see where it is made and find out more about the farm.

Why not pop in whilst you are out walking off your Sunday lunch or out for a bike ride ( and car parking is also available). We look forward to seeing you.

Spring Update

Spring is finally here - and Northney Ice Cream now available at the Co-op in Elm Grove, Hayling Island. We've also been supplying HIADS for their latest performance at the Station Theatre.

Our next innovation will be starting in June. We will be launching our plans next week when David Willetts, our local MP, visits Northney Farm as part of the opportunity to meet all the election candidates. Watch this space for more information!!!

We had a great day at the 999 event on Hayling beach and we'll be running our stall at many events during the summer - please get in touch if you would like Northney Ice Cream to come to your event.
